Without the help of these people, we'd be lost!
Laura Kidd is FANTASTIC! Calm and collected, she can easily soothe any bridal fears and tears. She replies to emails pronto and never hesitates in writing lengthy emails just to explain stuff. She follows up her emails too. Sometimes you think you're starting to ask for the moon, then she surprises you by finding a way to get you the moon...hahaha! All figuratively speaking, of course. Once you're in her totally capable hands, you can rest easy. She makes things happen. She's the best!
For someone who has officiated a lot of weddings on and off Disney property, it's a wonder how Rev. Jack can still perform these weddings! Once you see him in action during your wedding, you'll realize Rev. Jack sincerely enjoys what he's doing. He's very warm and sweet, as though you've known him for a long time!
Steve Weinstein of Power Entertainment is Super Steve in our book! Great music, great personality. He charmed our guests into non-stop dancing! Of course, our guests really love to dance but they're the type who won't dance UNLESS the music is worth dancing to. Steve knew from a previous phone conversation that Eugene and I both love the soundtrack of the Broadway show RENT. What totally won us over is the fact that when the dancing was going on, we actually saw him opening the newly bought soundtrack! He then played "Seasons of Love" which we both adore! Now that's enough to charm the socks off us!
David Basher of A Magic Moment was very professional and knowledgeable about his field. He asked the right questions and was quite sensitive to family dynamics. On the wedding day itself, he and his assistants were unobtrusive. The times they needed to take formal shots of everyone, they were very pleasant and organized. When conceptualizing a shot, it is pretty difficult to miss the fact that Mr. Basher is quite intense. Nevertheless, on his hand was a copy of the photo list we gave him! He was really making sure that the shots we wanted were taken. He also notified us every so often of the time left for the photos and videos, which we actually appreciated as we only originally agreed to have 4-hour coverage. In the end, we extended their photo and video services for 2 more hours. Overall, we were tremendously pleased with him and the way they performed their job.
Dave Baker of Carly Ane's Floral Studio Inc. called us immediately while we were still faxing our request for bridal party flowers quote. That earned him major brownie points for us. He was willing to work within our budget too, and that helped. The final result was just what I expected. Nothing too big, too frou-frou. The flowers were beautiful yet it didn't take the attention away from us.
Linda Calderaro of Creative Elegance Wedding Services was always easy to talk to, responded to emails (a big plus for us!) and perfectly willing to work within your budget. For those low on cash and big on creativity, Linda's the way to go in decorating your ceremony and reception sites.
